Paint and walls have always shared a mutual dialogue. Throughout history, the wall has been a medium for recording human expression - telling stories, displaying drawings, and even recording lost loves or childhood measurements. For over 50,000 years, the wall has been a channel for manifestation and a testimony to those who pass by it.

In graffiti, spray paint emerges as yet another tool of this human impulse to leave a mark. To some, it is merely visual pollution; to others, a language exposed to everyone's view, yet understood by few. It is the itinerary of those who pass, an evolution reflected over the years, an archive of experimentation with new gestures and materials. It is an incessant search for the perfection and harmony of each letter.

This exploration finds in the tag one of its most elemental forms. A word. A signature. A unique typography, refined in secret over thousands of repetitions. Every line, every curve, every swift gesture on the wall is the result of continuous practice. In that seemingly spontaneous mark, a genuine effort and authentic discipline are engraved.

Yet, it is only when that same signature leaves the street and comes to occupy a private space that the way it is viewed changes, as does how it is preserved and, above all, the value attributed to it.

In Off the Wall, Kilos explores this fine line between vandalism and art, street and gallery, illegal signature and certificate of authenticity.
